Brent Oil Futures Reach Highest Price Since April

The price of Brent oil futures, which are set to be delivered in September, surged to $82 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange. This marks the highest price since April 25.

Positive Momentum for Brent Crude

At 16:01 Moscow time, Brent crude experienced a 1.83% increase in price on the stock exchange, reaching $82 per barrel.

Market Slowdown and West Texas Intermediate Futures

By 4:15 pm Moscow time, Brent oil saw a slight slowdown and was trading at $81.72 per barrel, showing a 1.48% increase. In contrast, futures for West Texas Intermediate crude, scheduled for delivery in September, rose by 0.78% to $77.67 per barrel.
