Al-Moselhi said during the opening of a plant in eastern Al-Awainat in southern Egypt in the presence of Sisi that Egypt’s domestic wheat production is 10 million tons on an area of ​​3.2 million acres.

The Minister of Supply of Egypt confirmed that two million tons of wheat have been delivered to the Ministry of Supply so far, and we are almost in the middle of the season, so the goal is close to 4 million tons. the state is working to increase the local product in order to reduce the import bill.

Concerning the standards for provision with strategic goods and strategic reserves, the Minister of Supply explained that the provision with sugar is 7 months, rice 3 months, butter 4 months, meat 3.5 months and poultry 8 months.
