Iraq’s Oil Ministry Reveals September’s Crude Oil Export Statistics

Iraq’s Oil Ministry recently released preliminary statistics on the volumes of crude oil exported and the revenues achieved for September of last year.

Export Volume and Revenues

The Ministry of Petroleum disclosed that the total export volume and revenues for September were revealed based on preliminary statistics provided by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company SOMO. The total export volume of crude oil reached 103,143,199 barrels, generating a revenue of $9.494 billion.

Export Breakdown

The statistics highlighted that the total crude oil exports for September from oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 102,220,441 barrels. Additionally, exports to Jordan accounted for 449,423 barrels, while exports from the Qayara region amounted to 473,335 barrels.

Daily Export Volume and Price

The average daily export volume was reported as 3,438,000 barrels per day. Furthermore, the average price for one barrel of crude oil reached $92.05.

Monthly Reporting Initiative

The Ministry has taken the initiative to inform the general audience about export operations and the income generated from them by adopting a monthly reporting measure.
