The Pentagon has unveiled a new two-pound LC Charger pistol, which has been redesigned from the Ruger LC Carbine semi-automatic rifle.

This was reported by the Russian magazine “Kalashnikov”, which stated that the pistol has a short barrel where there is no toe, unlike a semi-automatic rifle.

The new pistol fires 5.7 x 28mm bullets. Its magazines and controls are the same as those of the Ruger LC carbine and the Ruger-5.7 pistol.

The shotgun features an aluminum swing action with front hand rest, sling attachment points and a full length Picatinny rail.

The total length of the pistol is 406 mm and the weight is 1.9 kg. It can store 20 rounds.
