Oil Prices Increase as Economic Worries Subside

Oil prices rose in trading today, Wednesday, for the third consecutive day on the back of improving market sentiment in light of the easing of fears about the banking crisis in the US and the European Union.

And by 09:20 Moscow time, futures contracts for American oil were trading at $73.70 per barrel, which is 0.78% higher than the previous settlement price.

Brent futures traded at $79.02 a barrel, up 0.47% from the previous closing price, according to Bloomberg.
