As of today, the cost of the TV service will increase from $65 to $73. This was stated by YouTube today. The streaming service costs $73/per Month for new subscribers, but on April 18, it will rise to $83/Month for current subscribers.
To “provide you the greatest possible TV service,” YouTube claims to charge extra due to increased “content costs.”
YouTube also eliminates the 4K content add-on fee and the price change. The pricing for individuals who subscribe to YouTube TV with the 4K add-on has decreased from $19.99 per Month to $9.99 per Month. Instead of $85, YouTube TV with 4K will cost $83 instead.
A live TV service called YouTube TV has been available since 2017. Costs have doubled in the past six years since YouTube TV’s initial $35 debut. Up to six people from the same household may utilize YouTube TV, which offers limitless cloud DVR storage.
In addition to add-on subscriptions for premium networks like HBO Max and STARZ, there are more than 100 channels accessible.
