UAE Stock Markets Attract Over $1.66 Billion in Liquidity
According to Emirates News Agency WAM, the stock markets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have drawn in more than 6.1 billion dirhams (approximately $1.66 billion) of liquidity over four sessions.
Liquidity Distribution
Liquidity was spread across four sessions, with AED4.42 billion in the Abu Dhabi Securities Market and AED1.7 billion in the Dubai Financial Market. These figures were achieved through the trading of 1.28 billion shares in over 85,200 transactions.
Market Capitalization
By the end of the current session, the market capitalization of listed stocks reached Dh3.54 trillion. This value is divided into Dh2.859 trillion for stocks listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market and Dh684.9 billion for stocks listed on the Dubai Financial Market.
Market Indices
The Abu Dhabi Fadex 15 Market Index closed at 9,496.03 points, the FTSE Abu Dhabi General Market Fadji Index closed at 9,785.32 points, and the Dubai General Market Index closed at 4,163.58 points after experiencing a 0.52% increase in today’s session. This increase added approximately 2.01 billion dirhams to the market.
