Huawei signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Arabia’s leading telecommunications company Zain during the 2023 Mobile World Congress, which was held from February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona.

The two companies will also work together to improve the digital infrastructure and build a world-leading fifth and a half generation (5.5) technology development network, providing a strong boost to achieve the national digitization goals set in the Saudi Vision. 2030.

In addition to the above, Zain Saudi Arabia and Huawei will collaborate to promote technological innovation, improve user experience, and develop new use cases.MetaAAU is a large-scale carrier aggregator for 5G networks, as well as Digital LampSite solutions for indoor scenarios. .

Initiatives will also be implemented to improve the performance of large networks with multiple inputs/outputs and to develop end-to-end independent network operations and optimization capabilities. The two sides will also develop new IoT use cases and private network solutions. The partnership will explore innovative collaborations in areas such as, but not limited to, microsites and clean energy solutions.
