The Ambassador of Argentina to Russia, Eduardo Antonio Zvin, said that this year a delegation from Argentina, which is the second largest economy in Latin America, will take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

He told the Novosti news agency today, Wednesday: “A delegation from the Argentine embassy in Moscow will come (to the forum). For us, this forum is very important, because it allows you to get direct contacts with various business representatives, with companies operating in different fields. It’s a very stressful job.” Because at the forum we usually visit all the pavilions.

According to the Argentine diplomat, members of the delegation intend to take part in most sessions of the economic event, the purpose of which is to discuss the most important tasks facing the world economy and attract investment in the Russian economy.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held this year from June 14 to 17, 2023, and it is noteworthy that the UAE is participating as a guest of honor in the economic event.

This comes after Egypt took part in this capacity in the 2022 forum and Qatar in 2021.

In 2022, deals and contracts worth about 5.6 trillion rubles ($105 billion) were concluded at the forum, 691 agreements were signed in total.
