Liverpool’s Summer Transfers: Bolstering the Ranks for the Championship Challenge
Premier League clubs have been active in the summer transfer market, and Liverpool is no exception. The Reds are determined to strengthen their squad before the registration deadline on September 1st.
Liverpool’s Summer Mercato Deals
Liverpool has made several notable signings this summer. They secured Stuttgart midfielder Wataru Endo for €15m and announced the acquisition of Leipzig’s Dominik Zuboslai on a 5-year contract worth €70 million. Additionally, Brighton star Alexis McAllister joined the club for €42 million.
Departures from Liverpool
Alongside the arrivals, Liverpool has also seen some players leave the club. James Milner, whose contract expired, joined Brighton. Roberto Firmino moved to Al Ahli in Saudi Arabia, and Naby Keita signed with Werder Bremen after his contract with Liverpool ended. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Turkish club Besiktas, and former Liverpool player Artur Milo joined Juventus after his loan spell. Jordan Henderson joined a Saudi club for €14m, while Fabinho signed with the Tigers for €46.7m. Calvin Ramsey, Fabio Carvalho, and Rhys Williams were among the players loaned out to Preston, Leipzig, and Aberdeen, respectively.
