Ten Hag said the match was unworthy of the Europa League and said “I felt today’s match was worthy of the Champions League level, it was a great match.”

Marcos Alonso opened the scoring for the hosts with a great header 49 minutes into the match, while Marcus Rushford equalized for Manchester United in the 52nd minute.
