The Asian Football Confederation has released the rating of teams participating in the 2023 Asian Cup, which will be held next year in Qatar.
Doha will host the 2023 Asian Cup from January 12, 2024 to February 10 of the same year with 24 teams.
The tournament is planned to be held in a group system with 6 groups, provided that there are 4 teams in each group, and the draw for the group stage of the tournament will take place on May 11.
The AFC has officially announced the classification of the teams participating in the tournament, dividing them into 4 classifications, with 6 teams in each classification.
The Qatar team took first place in the first standings of the host country along with the teams of Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea, Australia and Iran.
While the teams of Iraq, Emirates, Oman, Jordan, China and Uzbekistan entered the second classification, and the third classification included Arab teams consisting of teams from Bahrain, Syria, Palestine and Lebanon, in addition to Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam.
As for the fourth standings, he brought together the teams of India, Tajikistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
