Brazil secures spot in World Youth Championship 1/8 finals with victory over Nigeria.

Brazil have reached the final trophy of the FIFA World Youth Championship (U-20) after defeating their Nigerian counterpart (2-0) tonight, Saturday, in the third round of the group stage.

The double of the Brazilian Selesao was signed by defender Gian Pedroso and striker Marquinhos in the 43rd and 45th minutes of the first half of the match, which took place at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in the capital of Buenos Aires.

Brazil won for the second time in a row and topped the Group D standings on goal difference, behind Italy and Nigeria, who finished second and third respectively.

And the Dominican team, which lost to the Italian colleague (0:3), took the last fourth place and was enrolled in the tournament.
