Moroccan Khadija Al Mardi won the gold medal of the World Women’s Boxing Championship tonight, Sunday, in a tournament currently taking place in the Indian capital of New Delhi.

Champion Khadija Al-Mardi was able to defeat Kazakhstani rival Lazat Kongibayeva in the weight category over 81 kg in the final match.

Khadija Al-Mardi, 32, previously won bronze at the 2019 World Championships and then silver last year in Turkey.

While Russian boxer Diana Pyatak and Azerbaijani Ainur Rzayeva won bronze medals.
