Ciro Immobile, the Italian and Lazio striker, was involved in a horrific accident after his car crashed into a tram in the capital Rome on Sunday, local media reported.
Photos and videos released by Italian media show the front of the immobile Range Rover completely destroyed, glass shattered and the tram derailed as a result of the collision.

Immobil was driving the car at the time of the accident. His daughters were also with him, and they were all taken to the hospital for medical examination after the accident.
The newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport” quoted Immobile as saying: “The tram ran a red light. Fortunately, I’m fine, only my arm hurts a little”, while an Italian newspaper reported that the tram driver was injured.
For its part, the Italian news agency ANSA reported that some passengers on the tram were taken to the hospital for checks, and the police did not provide any details about the circumstances of the accident.
It is noteworthy that Immobile is considered one of the best players in the Italian league in recent years, as he pulled out the title of Calcio’s top scorer four times, and also won the European Golden Boot award in 2020.
