Amir Mortada Mansour, chief football inspector of Zamalek club, announced that the Egyptian club has secured a judgment against Saudi club Al-Taawon over Mustafa Fathi’s transfer deal.
Mustafa Fathi joined the Saudi club in January 2022 before joining the Pyramids in September last year on loan.
Zamalek received only a fraction of the value of the deal and did not receive the rest of the total money owed from the sale to his Saudi club.
Amir said in statements on the Zamalek channel: “We managed to get a decision from the International Football Federation, FIFA, which says that we have received an amount of $400,000 from cooperation with Saudi Arabia.”
Addendum: “In the deal with Mustafa Fathi, the current Pyramids player, as the cost of the remainder of the player’s transfer from Al Abyad to the Saudi club earlier.”
And he continued: “We have more than $6.5 million in contributions for the deals of Imam Ashur and Mustafa Mohammed, the fine of Mahmoud Kahraba and the aforementioned amount of Saudi cooperation.”
He concluded his speech by emphasizing that the club had not yet received this money, saying “We were not able to receive this money due to the club’s balance being confiscated.”
