The demonstrators shouted many times, which coincided with the hearing of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs in the US Congress in the presence of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken today, Wednesday.
At the beginning of the meeting, an unknown person shouted out about this: “A proxy war can lead us to a third world war.”
Other demonstrators also called for attention to China’s proposals to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and lift sanctions on Cuba.
For his part, Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ), chairman of the committee, boycotted meetings at least 5 times to allow police to escort demonstrators and remove them from the hall.
