Rome, March 24 – The search for the son of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Os-Artem, who escaped from house arrest, is going on throughout Italy, including at airports and border points, representatives of the Carabinieri told the News Agency.
A spokesman for the Milan administration said: “We have no evidence that he left Italian territory. Objective information indicates that he escaped from house arrest by removing the electronic bracelet.”
The Milan Court of Appeal agreed on Tuesday to extradite Artem Os to the United States. On Wednesday, the 40-year-old Russian businessman fled in an unknown direction.
“At the moment, his searches are carried out throughout the national territory,” said the Carabinieri.
