German Police Seek Individuals Involved in Controversial Video
German police are currently searching for the participants in a video that recently surfaced on X (formerly Twitter). The individuals in the video were seen performing a prohibited Nazi salute while the Nazi Wehrmacht anthem “Erika” played in the background.
The Controversial Nazi Anthem
The anthem, known as “Erika,” was composed by Hermes Niel, the leader of the Reich military band during the Nazi era. In the video, three men and one woman can be seen dressed in German national costumes, engaging in the banned Hitler salute.
Police Action and Investigation
The Saxon police became aware of the video and took immediate action. A copy of the video was handed over to the investigative authorities. However, it is still uncertain whether an official investigation has been initiated or not. The incident occurred in the small village of Seeschutz, located near Bautzen.
