Zamalek club president Mortada Mansour sent out several messages following his team’s 1-0 victory over Al-Ahli Bank in a meeting that brought them together last night, Sunday, in the 24th round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Mortada Mansour said in a TV address on the Zamalek channel: “I congratulate the great, true fans of Zamalek on defeating the National Bank… and I say to some of the hackers who took money to insult the technical staff, the player, and the board of directors. I cleared the stands of you, salvation, you will no longer enter the stands.”

And he added: “Fans of Zamalek have been polite all their lives. When their president of the club was imprisoned, they did not deviate from the text. When he returned, real fans cheered the team from the first to the last minute.”

And he continued: “The player played in a safe and respectful atmosphere and without any pressure. I will not return to the ultras in the stands of Zamalek.”

The Zamalek club achieved their first victory after a draw and two defeats in a row, raising their score to 36 points and moving up to fourth place in the league standings.
