The commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, called on the international community to intervene in the “crimes” of the commander of the Sudanese army, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.

In a series of tweets on Twitter, Dagalo wrote: “The international community must act now and intervene against the crimes of Sudanese General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, a radical Islamist who bombs civilians from the air and his army is waging a brutal war.” Campaign against the innocent.

“We are fighting radical Islamists who hope to keep Sudan isolated and away from democracy,” he said, stressing that “we will continue to persecute Al-Burhan and bring him to justice.”

He added: “The battle we are now fighting is the price of democracy,” stressing that “we have not attacked anyone and our actions are simply a response to the blockade and the attack on our forces. We are fighting for the people of Sudan to ensure the democratic progress they have been striving for.”

Dagalo stressed: “We are taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of people. We will not allow them to be harmed and will do everything in our power to protect democracy and uphold the rule of law in Sudan. … We will win and achieve peace and stability.”
