Moscow, March 22 – Olga Fradi, senior assistant to the head of the GSUSK for the region, told reporters that two children died in a fire in a private house in Odintsovo near Moscow.
According to what she said, the fire broke out on Wednesday in a private house in the village of Shatsi. The initial cause of the fire is a short circuit of the oil cooler.

“A criminal case has been opened on the discovery of the bodies of two children, aged 8 and 15, after extinguishing a fire (under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) … the initial cause of death of children is carbon monoxide poisoning,” Frady said.
Investigators and forensic experts examined the scene and seized a radiator and electrical wires. Forensic medical examinations and fire technical examinations have been determined.
The Moscow Region Prosecutor’s Office, in turn, set a different date for the fire: according to preliminary data from the supervisory authority, the accident occurred the night before.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office, on its own initiative, has also started an inspection in connection with the fire, as the department notes on its Telegram channel.
