Donetsk, June 18 – Within an hour and a half, Ukrainian forces fired 11 155 mm shells at the Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk, the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic in the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Cases Related to War Crimes in Ukraine (JCCC).
“A fire from the VFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine – Ed.) was recorded in the direction: 18:30 – the settlement of Galitsynivka – the city of Donetsk (Kirov province): 6 155-mm shells were fired; 20: 00 – the settlement of Maksimilianovka – the city of Donetsk (2 districts Petrovsky and Kirovsky): fired 5 155-mm shells.

NATO countries use 155 mm artillery. The United States has supplied Kiev with long-range 155 mm M777 howitzers, and Ukrainian forces are actively using them to bomb the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. Also, the Ukrainian troops were supplied with German self-propelled guns PzH 2000, Polish Krab self-propelled guns and French CAESAR self-propelled guns with shells of this caliber.
