Moscow, April 22 – The founder of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that riots broke out between militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kiev-controlled Chasovy Yar region and Konstantinovka in the DRC, who “lay down their weapons, get up and leave.” The press service reports on his Telegram channel.
“In Chasovoy Yar and Konstantinovka, riots began among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: they laid down their arms, got up and left. Give them the opportunity to live further, not kill thousands and tens of thousands of Ukrainians. “Your hands,” Prigozhin said.
For several months now, fierce fighting has been going on in the DRC for Artemovsk, which is located north of the large city of Gorlovka. It is an important transport hub for supplying the Ukrainian group of forces in Donbass. On April 11, Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner group, whose fighters are participating in the liberation of the city, said that Russian forces had taken control of more than 80% of Artemovsk’s territory. On April 21, Prigozhin said that the Ukrainian forces in Artemovsk were in an operational cordon, and there had been no talk of a “cauldron” yet.
