Moscow, March 30 – Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshuk said that the process of repatriating Ukrainian orphans was “thoughtful”, while suggesting that international organizations be involved in the mechanism for the return of children evacuated from the war zone.
She explained that the return process is a very delicate, complex and long process, because “all the necessary procedures and the road take several months.”
Earlier, Vereshok appealed to Tatyana Moskalkova, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation, and Maria Lvova Belova, the Children’s Ombudsman, with lists of orphans found in new regions.
Moscova said Ukraine had requested data on orphans who ended up in Russia
