A Boston court in the US state of Massachusetts has extended the detention of National Guard soldier Jack Douglas Teixeira pending an investigation into alleged leaks of classified confidential documents from the Pentagon.
And according to what an American radio station tweeted on Friday: “The judge decided to continue Teixeira’s detention and denied the defense’s request to release him on bail.”
This means that the judge accepted the arguments of the prosecutor’s office, which warned that he might try to escape if he was released on bail.
