Zaporozhye’s crucial infrastructure facility targeted by Russian forces

Simferopol, April 14 – The Russian military attacked a vital energy infrastructure facility in the city of Zaporozhye, Vladimir Rogov, head of the Zaporozhye movement “We are with Russia,” said the News Agency.

“Ukrainian forces turned the city into their base, using enterprises to deploy weapons and military equipment, and residential buildings for cover. Last night, a targeted strike was carried out on the positions of the militants, several explosions were heard in the city. The vital energy infrastructure of the city was damaged, ”- said Rogov.

The Zaporizhia region became a subject of the Russian Federation after the referendum held in September 2022, the results of which Kiev does not recognize and continues to bomb the region. Today, more than 70% of the Zaporozhye region is under Russian control, while the former regional center of the region, the city of Zaporozhye, remains under the control of Ukrainian forces.
