Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan opened the Daphne State Hospital, which was completed in 60 days in the earthquake-hit Hatay province.

In his speech at the ceremony, Erdogan said that the Daphne government hospital will start accepting patients from Monday.

On March 24, Erdogan laid the foundation stone for a hospital located in the Dafna district of Hatay city after the devastating earthquake that struck on February 6, 2023.

Daphne Hospital has 300 regular beds, 80 intensive care beds and 12 operating rooms.

The hospital will provide services to citizens in all medical specialties.

All hospital rooms are designed in such a way that they can be converted into intensive care rooms thanks to the outstanding technical infrastructure.
