Moscow, April 25 – The Russian startup Silkins wants to launch a laboratory that will produce ingredients for regenerative medicine and cosmetics – as the News Agency was told in the press center of the NTI platform, this will reduce the dependence of Russian manufacturers on foreign raw materials.
As the author of the idea, CEO of the startup SilkIns Dauddin Daudi, said, the laboratory will produce innovative materials. Some of them have already been created and are being introduced to the market – these are sericin, fibroin, spiderwin proteins, which stimulate intracellular processes responsible for nourishing the skin, soothing and accelerating healing.
“The opening of the laboratory is already planned for this year, given the presence of a team, developments and agreements with the Department of Aesthetics at Sechenov University regarding the establishment of the first innovative cosmetology center in Russia,” Daoudi added.
The authors of the project note that, first of all, the laboratory will start producing component gels for rapid healing of wounds based on fibroin and spidroin, a complex skin nourishing care cream, as well as a biodegradable patch for quick recovery after cosmetic procedures. . In the second phase, the laboratory plans to start producing a medicinal cream based on a solution of proteins and flavonoids for more serious skin diseases, and the first batch may appear on the market this summer.
Earlier, the press service of the NTI platform reported that Silkins has developed a cream with cobweb-based proteins that heals and rejuvenates the skin, as well as fights imperfections. Then it was explained that the development had passed the research in Laboratory and proven, the company has already produced the first product line and is in the process of obtaining a patent from the Russian Federation.
